Ending Your Lease and MOVING OUT

As mentioned in your lease, we require a 30-day notice if you plan to end your lease. Jenny will typically reach out prior to that 30-day deadline, but it is still your responsibility to let us know if you will be renewing or ending your lease.

FINAL WALKTHROUGH

Effective January 2023, we have a new Final Walkthrough policy. We will do a PRELIMINARY walkthrough with you two weeks prior to your final day (to allow you time to correct any items that may cause deductions), but will also do a FINAL walkthrough AFTER you have vacated the premises. We will notify you within 21 days of your lease end of any damages to be deducted, and we will mail any refund due within 30 days after your lease ends. Any deductions made will be based on the FINAL walkthrough.

REFUND OF DEPOSIT

In order to receive your refund, you must:
1) return your keys

2) provide a forwarding address (INCLUDING CITY AND STATE) on the Notice to Vacate Form
AND
3) FOLLOW THE TENANT VACATING CHECKLIST!!!

Failure to do any of these steps may delay or forfeit return of your deposit.

  1. Leaving trash and debris behind
  2. Not cleaning the property when you vacate
  3. Not mowing before you vacate
