As transplants to the Bristol area, Blaine and Jenny Brown saw the potential for both growth in the Bristol area, as well as an opportunity in real estate investment – particularly rental properties. Before the Pinnacle, The Falls Plaza, and the Casino had even been on the map, these rental pioneers saw a lack of rental properties in the area. A simple Google search didn’t provide much in the way of rentals back in those days. So in 2012, the Browns began their real estate journey with the Lakeview property.
Fast forward to twelve years later, the Browns now own and/or manage over 60 rental properties/doors in the Bristol area (and one in Abingdon). Their portfolio showcases properties on both sides of Bristol, and includes single family houses, townhouses, and condos/apartments. Jenny serves as the Property Manager, while Blaine continues to grow their portfolio and tinker in the Maintenance and Renovation side of things.
With the growth and expansion in Bristol in the past decade, as well as the explosion of real estate in the Tri Cities since 2020, Blaine and Jenny strive to keep housing affordable by keeping their prices at or just below “fair market value”. They work with several organizations in the area to help find affordable housing for those that need it most.
The Browns live in the South Holston Lake area of Bristol, TN with their 2 daughters, 1 son, and 2 shih tzus.
